About us

The Capital Construction team is responsible for the execution of VCU’s Capital Outlay Program. The team oversees the management of projects included in VCU’s Six-Year Plan or projects with a total cost of $2 million or more, inclusive of all necessary expenditures.

Project managers work closely with VCU departments, future building users and other project stakeholders to achieve project goals. After a project has been authorized by the VCU Board of Visitors, project managers coordinate all phases of a project from initiation through completion and close-out.
