Maintenance zones are responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment that uses Freon for mechanical refrigeration in the cooling process. Equipment includes walk-in HVAC and refrigeration, air dryers, window air conditioners, ductless split systems and chillers used for air conditioning and other processes.
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) water treatment
Maintenance Zones are responsible for the chemical water treatment in HVAC systems that use water as a heat transfer medium. These systems include cooling towers, chilled water and hot water heating loops. The chemical treatment is used to control corrosion, scaling and to maintain biological control of harmful bacteria in the water that is used for heat transfer in the HVAC systems.
