Capital construction projects

Athletic Village

The off-campus, four-phase Athletic Village will consist of new sports fields and facilities, including outdoor track facilities and practice fields, a tennis center, soccer stadium, and in door field house. It will return on-campus real estate to serve academic and student needs, reduce travel and increase team practice times, and offer new opportunities for community impact through youth programming.

CoStar Center for Arts and Innovation

Positioned on the southeast corner of Broad and Belvidere streets, across from the ICA at the Markel Center at VCU and steps away from Fortune 500 companies and local startups, a new CCAI will provide a launchpad for critical digital and creative economy initiatives both on campus and in the city. A new building will optimize VCU’s arts innovation programs by bringing them together under one roof.
